Food court

This is where all students can come and eat or enjoy a social hour.

( Markos walks in the food court and most people look at his with some fear and some respect. he gets a rice bowl and sits down to eat by himself.)
Mark: mmm This rice is good... wonder what will happen today..

-Chrono sits at the other end of the otherwise empty table also eating rice-

( Mark looks at him ) Hello there.. Arent you Chrono? ( says with a smile )

-Chrono looks up at him, face either scared or neutral-
Chrono: Y-yes, how do you know?

Mark: Your name has come up a few times.. skilled at fixing things.. Im Markos.. no need to be afraid.. ( smiles )

Chrono: I-I'm not scared. I'm just, uh.
-Chrono is obviously lying-

Mark: I can sense your fear.. just calm down.. ( eats more of his rice ) Anyways.. i was wondering if you would care to duel me later.. ones who are spoken of highly must be good..( smiles )

-Chrono gulps, but tries to seem a little less worried-
Chrono: A duel? I suppose so. But... What do you mean, "spoken of highly"?

Mark: other students have been talking about your "Junk" Monsters.. Perfect Dragon food.. but i suppose your not ready?

-Chrono's mood goes from worried, to disappointed-
Chrono: Oh, you're one of those people. For a second I was sure I'd met a nice person. I know how my deck sounds but it's anything from rubbish.

Mark: what.. i am nice.. didnt mean for that to come out that way.. sorry..

Chrono: No, it's okay. Think whatever you want. I'm a good duelist, but everybody who knows me, thinks I'm a loser, and that the only reason I'm still here, is because I'm the only one who can work on the Duel Disks.
-Chrono goes back to eating his rice-

Mark: I dont think your a loser.. ( smiles ) I believe people are jealous of your talents.. i wish i was a mechanical wizard some times.. ( looks at his custom sword disk ) Anyways.. whats your favorite cards or cards? You dont have to have them to say so.

Chrono: Hmm... Probably any of my Junk cards. They've been my only friends since... Well, since I stopped being friends with people. People let me down, "Friends" let me down. So, I shut myself off from the world, and decided to stay here, where I get the most hate.

Mark: Black Luster Soldier.. my Uncle Zay gave it to me as a birthday gift.. it means so much. Well.. i dont trust most people either.. but from the looks of it.. you seem trustable. ( smiles ) Dont worry about if you can trust me or not.. im not what they say i am.. ( smiles ) Im very kind.

Chrono: Thanks, maybe I will duel then.
-Chrono nearly finishes his rice-

Mark: ( smiles ) Okay ( finishes eating ) I find im one of the only people here ho use Dragons.. hmm.. wonder why..

-Chrono finishes eating-
Chrono: I was wondering that too. I get challenged to duels all the time, from kids who think I'm a pushover, or one's that think I'll further their win streaks. Not to brag, but a whole gang challenged me and said if I lost, I had to leave. Now, whether I lost or not, I wasn't gonna leave. But I did manage to win. Then they ran to the chancellor and said I cheated.

Mark: Hmm.. i remember when a Odd-Eyes student challenged me.. he now fears me. Every time i say "Doom-Virus" he gets scared. Anyways if you need help with anything feel free to ask me. ( Smiles )

-Chrono seems to be a more comfortable talking to Mark-
Chrono: Ask? About what?

Mark: if you need help with your deck, a duel or anything in general.. ( smiles )

Chrono: I see. Alright, I'll keep that in mind. Any way we can keep in touch? A phone number, maybe?
-Chrono finally smiles-

Mark: Yea heres my number. ( Gives it to Chrono ) ( smiles again ) If you need me ill be in my room in the Neos dorm. Room 102 b hall.

-Chrono takes it and immediately puts it into his contacts-
Chrono: Thanks, Fusion huh? Cool. I'm in the Synchro dorm. Room 127. Y'know, the one upstairs.
